SINGAPORE – February 2018 – Anacle Systems Limited (“Anacle”), partnering with Koyo International Limited (“Koyo”) and Azbil Singapore Pte Ltd (“Azbil”), won the energy management solution EcoCampus project awarded by Nanyang Technological University (“NTU Singapore”).
It is the first ecoCampus project to be awarded in Singapore as well as one of the largest energy management contracts awarded in Southeast Asia. The S$18.18 million project is expected to complete in August 2019, with close to 7,000 energy and water meters deployed across more than 200 buildings covering the grounds of NTU 200-hectare campus.
Driven by the EcoCampus Initiative, NTU aims to reduce energy and water consumption by 35% in 2020. The implementation of Starlight® Energy Management Solution will enable NTU to accurately monitor and identify its consumption pattern, effectively pinpointing areas of wastage through advanced energy analytics.
“The NTU EcoCampus project is a landmark win for Anacle not just in the scale and the potential of the project, but also a testament to our solution, ready for deployment in new green buildings as well as retrofitting old ones.” said Mr. Tay Chin Hui, Assistant Vice President of Product Solutions & Services Group, Anacle.
“While there has been growing awareness on sustainability and energy management through initiatives such as the Sustainable Singapore Blueprint, not many may know how to go about it. The EcoCampus project can show that energy management can be easily done with a quality energy management system without major disruption to operations.” said Alex Lau, Chief Executive Officer of Anacle.
